1. We understand that on occasion it may be necessary to cancel your appointment and we require 48hrs notice. For cancellations outside of this period, full payment will still apply.
2. We reserve the right to cancel any appointments due to situations arising outside of our control such as power failure or a dog defecating in the pool. We will not accept liability for any losses or damage. Please ensure we have up to date contact details for you.
3. If your dog has an illness or contagious condition, we will require you to cancel your appointment. If you suspect your dog has or may have been exposed to kennel cough, your dog will not be permitted to attend their session for 14 days as it is highly contagious.
4. If your bitch comes into season, we will require you to cancel your appointment and reschedule when the season is over.
5. Please ensure your dog has toileted before its treatment session. An additional fee of £60 will be made for dogs that defecate in the pool. The pool will have to be closed to allow for cleaning and appointments may need to be cancelled.
6. We cannot be held responsible for any loss or injury to any person or animal; however, this occurs, whilst on the premises. Additionally, we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to vehicles or personal property whilst on the premises.
7. Please keep your dog under control and on a lead at all times to ensure their safety.
8. We require you to wear sensible footwear for health & safety reasons as it may be wet around the pool area. Please can you also ensure your footwear is clean and mud free.
9. Although challenging at times, we kindly ask that your dog is as clean as possible when visiting the centre.
10. We reserve the right to refuse the treatment of any dog showing aggression or whose owner is rude or abusive to our team.
11. If you arrive up to 10 minutes late for your appointment, your dog’s session time may be reduced accordingly. If you are over 10 minutes late, we may not be able to accommodate your session, however the full session charge may still apply.
12. We will assess your dog prior to each session. Pre and post swim activities are included within the duration of the session and actual time in the pool can range from a few minutes to twenty minutes depending on your dog’s fitness level, breed, age, medical condition and other factors.
13. You must inform us of any changes to your dog’s health or medication to allow us to take this into consideration and adjust your dog’s treatment plan accordingly. You must also inform us if your veterinary surgeon requires you to withhold treatment.
14. Please allow at least 48 hours before and after your dog’s session when applying topical flea or worming treatment as the water will wash away the treatment and make it ineffective.
15. Individual treatments must be paid for at the end of each session. All treatment courses, including those to be part of an insurance claim, must be paid for in advance. For insurance claims, please check with your provider what is covered prior to booking an appointment and payment will still be required at the end of each session. Block booked sessions must be used within six months of payment.
16. Please only bring the dog that is being treated with you. Please do not leave any animal unattended in a parked car.
17. During the session photographs and video footage may be taken to assess the development of your dog or shared on our website and social media. Paws in Motion Ltd reserve the right to use this material. Please advise us if you do not wish this material to be used.
18. We may change or update these terms and conditions at any time.
